M.N. Ma’refat has written a post in his weblog, “Roshaii (The Light)”, in support of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the disclosures of Abbas Palizdar, who thinks of himself as a supporter of the president in fighting economic corruption, and considers the economic corruption of the authorities to be widespread, with Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the system, as the only exception to this problem. He continues:
“[…]Since the Iranian nation is used to making fodder for gags and yarn of the words and speeches of the republic’s president, ridiculing all that pours from his beautiful mouth to the wind of ridicule, [in doing this, Iran] often fails to mind the truth in the essence of his words. Should you view daily events a little more accurately, the hand of Imam Zaman [12th Shiite Imam called ‘of time’ - thought to return at the end of the world; also a favorite Imam of the president] is visible everywhere.[Then you’ll] become cognizant of his active management and see with your own eyes quite effortlessly all the signs of the approach of the end of time. For instance, if Allah’s wisdoms was not present in this, then how would it be possible for an unheard-of person to appear and embrace the highest-ranking leaders and managers in the country, who in asceticism and piety are on the same level as Lord Khamenei?[...]
If you watch more carefully, you’ll see that the only person in this central ring of government with the power to pronounce the last and final word, has remained an innocent sufferer and that is Milord Khamenei. That means all His associates who are rulers over society, according to the word of Palizdar, are all plunderers, thieves, and blackmailers, take bribes and are corrupt […]”

A “Light-Hearted Critic” in the weblog called “No Politics Please” has written a virtual dialogue between a baby about to be born and an angel from a different world. The angel sends the baby down to Tehran, the second worst place in the world, because it has only done one good thing; should the baby not have done any good deeds, it would have been sent to Afghanistan. Before doing so, the angel is telling the baby a few notable things about Tehran and Iran:
“[…][Angel:] at this moment you don’t have electricity in your house… according to the graduated timetable that kids have brought back from earth, it seems that your electricity will not return for the next two hours in fact … And water, [I’m afraid] you also don’t have … This year in Iran there’s been a drought, you see … We ordered that there be a direct angel from the Sun over Iran so that not a single drop of precipitation would come from the heavens…
“[Baby]: Why?
“[A]: Because people like you live there…one of them, Ahmadinejad…half of all your misfortunes is because of this one…God thinks of him as bad also… because of this, this year both the cold and the heat were more intense […]
“[B]: What about my mom and dad then?
“[A]: Your daddy dabbled in politics and went to jail… there… you see? The name [of the joint] is Evin. And there’s your mom, see… the one being harassed by the security forces at that
arcade passage… [because] her pants are not long enough… […]”

Yaser Mirdamadi who writes a weblog called “Hobab” (“bubble”) is of the opinion that there is an “erotic revolution” taking place in Iran. By way of example, he notes that looking at the past quarter of century when Islamic Hejab has been made mandatory, it has effectively been rejected by women, who even when wearing Hejab out of conviction, do their best to try and avoid any connection to those laws which rule their country. Here is an excerpt of this post:
“[…] This phenomenon is particularly visible in middle aged women who under the previous regime [under the Shah, deposed 1979] wore a [head-to-toe veil called] chador, but today prefer to use a simple head-scarf and manteau combination. Many of them are still committed to the Hejab; and one can tell this by the way they wear their new get-ups. Nonetheless they purposely steer clear of reproducing any officially condoned symbols. […] Don’t tell me that I read politics into everything. It is political. Our politics is just like everything else that we do and everything else that we do is just like our politics. […] “The erotic will” today is a tightly pressed-together mass against a government that yesterday sought to rid the world of sedition, and teach the world population ethics. […]”

In her “More stateless than the wind” based on reports received from [the predominantly Kurdish] Sanandaj city in the northwestern part of Iran, Roya discloses the scandal about the Intelligence Ministry’s installation of signal-jamming systems, whose rays Roya considers to be cancer-causing and a danger to public health. She says:
“[…] Iran-Cell Company, which sells SIM-cards for mobile phones, belongs to the Intelligence Ministry of the regime. By installing anti-satellite, signal-producing machines on the Iran-cell antennas in and around the city of Sanandaj and then broadcasting these signals, this ministry has put the health of the public in serious jeopardy the full results of which will only come to light years in the future, because these signals are extraordinarily dangerous and cancer-inducing. Please spread the word that people should avoid buying Iran-cell, and, if needed use permanent SIM cards; and those who have Iran-cell should not recharge them, to do something against this anti-Kurd regime and for the health of themselves and their children.”
